This is the longest Corporate Social Responsibility relationship of its type in Ireland. Throughout the year eir has hosted a number of fundraisers and employee events to raise vital funds for Special Olympics Ireland. Today the company announced it has raised €266,157 for Special Olympics Ireland. Picture shows Carolan Lennon Wholesale Managing Director open eir with Thomas Caulfield from Ballyfermot in Dublin and Michelle Stynes, from Tallaght in Dublin who represented Ireland at the Los Angeles World Games this summer. Thomas completed as part of the 11-a-side football team bringing home a bronze medal for Ireland. Michelle brought home gold as part of Team Ireland’s basketball team.
