EMC urges CAO applicants to opt for college courses in jobs-rich IT sector

EMC, the US high-tech multinational that employs more than 3,000 people in Ireland, has urged students to choose college courses in the IT sector where new jobs are coming on stream all the time.
The deadline for online CAO applications for college entry this year is January 20.
EMC’s stand in Engineers Hall demonstrates cloud computing, big data and information security – three emerging growth areas in global IT.
The EMC stand features interactive demonstrations around data encryption and cloud storage, and a candy floss machine serving ‘candy cloud’.
