Over 160 participants are expected to take part in this year’s charity event which is in its 7th year. The fundraiser has been an enormous success since it first started in 2005 and has raised in excess of €1.1 million of much needed funds for Down Syndrome Ireland. The trip is not a race or a timed competition but a bike ride out for all participants. The entry fee to partake is €750 per rider, which includes two nights hotel accommodation, breakfasts, evening meals and entertainment.
